Employee KPI Dashboard
Development of an employee focused dashboard to share live performance indicators and help motivate and reward teams around the world.

Before developing the dedicated employee support dashboard, each point of sales had its own Workplanner system on-sit, which was the place where each employee working in the bar would have to go to checkout when their next shift was. I saw a massive potential for creating some more buzz and hype around improving store performance by centralising this platform and enhancing it with employee oriented performance metrics.
I therefore set out to create a dashboard that could be customised for each bar around the world, where every employee, from Juicer to Manager, could check how their bar was doing as well as support the work planning process. The Business Intelligence department helped me create some new employee related KPI's that made it possible for me to build the actual dashboard and provide access to the juicers.

Competitions
This new dashboard became the hub for company competitions that I designed, and allowed us to create worldwide competitions where bars could compete for prizes based on their actual performance. The amazing thing was to see how the workplanner had gone from a place where employees simply checked their shifts, to a place where we could share news internally in the company, create leader-boards for competitions, and even send out information to the bars directly. This had a massive effect on the amount of traffic on the website, but also on the actual performance on the bars. Over a 6 month period (sadly interrupted by COVID) we saw a gradual performance increase in all of the bars sale of loyalty cards, consumer satisfaction, etc. underlining the effect of including all employees in the performance framework and creating a collective goal for the company to pursue at all levels.

The Setup
Creating, customising and deploying the new platform across world-wide juice bars was a very challenging and complicated process, but the final setup ended up using a combination of Google Sheets, Zapier, Auth0 and Webflow. By the end of the activity we managed to create a dashboard for each bar by utilising Webflows Content Management System (CMS), and were able to create live data using Zapier to feed live Google sheets data into the CMS system.
